The Nigeria Nurses Charitable Association UK (NNCAUK) is expanding its Operational Team to deliver our 2026/2027 priorities. We're seeking mission‑driven professionals with proven, hands‑on experience in building programmes, systems, and partnerships that benefit nurses, midwives, and allied professionals.

These roles are voluntary, part‑time, outcomes‑driven, and ideal for professionals who want to make a tangible impact while growing their leadership portfolio.

Available Positions

1. Partnerships & Strategic Alliances Lead

Purpose: Build high‑value relationships that unlock funding, programmes, and influence for NNCAUK.

Core Responsibilities

• Map, qualify, and maintain a pipeline of corporate, NHS, academic, charity, and community partners

• Develop sponsor/partner proposals, benefit matrices, MOUs, and activation plans

• Lead outreach, pitch meetings, and follow‑ups; maintain a disciplined CRM pipeline

• Co‑create partner‑led events, scholarships, or CPD sessions

• Track and report on income, in‑kind value, and impact

Key Outcomes (first 6 months)

✓ 10+ qualified partner leads; 4+ signed MOUs

✓ £50,000 sponsorship/in‑kind value secured

✓ Annual partnerships calendar published

2. Membership Growth & Engagement Lead

Purpose: Grow and retain a vibrant member community across regions and specialties, ensuring members experience clear value.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and optimise the membership funnel (acquisition, onboarding, engagement, renewal)

• Curate and coordinate member programming: CPD/webinars, mentorship, regional circles

• Build lifecycle communications (welcome series, engagement nudges, renewal journey)

• Lead member research (surveys, NPS, quick polls) and turn insights into actions

• Define segmentation rules with the Admin Officer and maintain accurate CRM tagging

Key Outcomes (first 6 months)

✓ ≥25% growth in active membership

✓ Quarterly engagement programme live

✓ Member Resource Hub populated with high-usage content

3. Organisational Development & Governance Lead

Purpose: Strengthen operating systems, compliance, and continuous improvement so NNCAUK runs reliably and safely.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core SOPs/policies (governance, data protection, events, partnerships)

• Manage the risk register; log and mitigate operational risks

• Establish KPI frameworks and a quarterly performance pack

• Design volunteer lifecycle: role descriptions, recruitment, onboarding, training, recognition

• Ensure UK GDPR compliance, records management, retention schedules

Key Outcomes (first 6 months)

✓ Core SOPs approved and implemented

✓ Quarterly KPI/dashboard pack produced

✓ Volunteer lifecycle documented and piloted

4. Education, Advocacy & Programmes Lead

Purpose: Deliver high‑quality CPD, mentorship, and advocacy that clearly advance NNCAUK's mission and member outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a CPD calendar (topics, speakers, accreditation where possible)

• Establish a mentorship framework (matching, onboarding resources, feedback loops)

• Monitor policy developments; draft position statements/briefs

• Build and maintain the Resource Hub (guides, toolkits, templates, recordings)

• Coordinate webinars and learning series end‑to‑end

Key Outcomes (first 6 months)

✓ 4–6 CPD sessions delivered (average rating ≥4.5/5)

✓ 2 policy/advocacy briefs published

✓ Resource Hub achieves ≥300 meaningful interactions

Cross‑Role Expectations

Delivery & Accountability

Set quarterly OKRs; provide fortnightly progress updates; complete post‑implementation reviews.

Data & Insight

Define KPIs before projects start; track in shared dashboards; run pilot tests quarterly.

Governance & Compliance

Adhere to UK GDPR, data minimisation, consent, retention; accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA).

Collaboration

Use RACI; capture decisions within 48 hours; report status in RAG format.

Quality Standards

Apply brand/style guides; 3‑check review before publishing.

Professional Development

Minimum 6 hours/quarter of CPD aligned to the role.

Security & Digital Hygiene

MFA on all tools; quarterly permissions audit; backups verified; no unapproved data storage.

Operating Rhythm

Weekly ops stand‑up (30 mins); monthly performance review; quarterly retrospective to update SOPs.
